About the role

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is thrilled to announce a brand-new opportunity for experienced Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join our expanding team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in beautiful Fort Pierce, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Support the successful launch of a new care model for Anesthesia Assistants
• Contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven practice
• Work in a diverse case mix including General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Trauma, Thoracic, Vascular/Endovascular, Neuro, ENT, Urology, and Pediatrics
• Operate in a high-volume practice with 11,500+ annual surgical cases
• Practice in a state-of-the-art facility with 13 operating rooms, 15 sterile processing suites, 2 open-heart ORs, and 2 obstetric ORs (Level III NICU)
• Participate in a Level II Trauma Center with backup weekend beeper call from home (Fri 7p–7a; Sat/Sun/Holidays 7a–7a)
• Staffed always with 1 physician + 1 APP in-house for top-of-license practice

Requirements

• Demonstrated clinical experience in a high-acuity environment
• Confidence and adaptability to contribute to a fast-paced, team-driven practice

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
• Florida licensure as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
• Experience in a high-acuity environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven practice
