Join the anesthesia team at award-winning PRIME Saint Mary’s Hospital, located near outdoor adventure along the Kankakee River in Illinois. PRIME St. Mary’s Kankakee Hospital has delivered high-quality healthcare to Kankakee, IL, and its southern suburbs with a commitment to community and compassion since 1897. The 182-bed acute care facility provides award-winning services for primary and specialty care, including a nationally recognized peritoneal dialysis unit (one of just 91 in the United States) and a state-of-the-art Family Birthing Center.

The anesthesia team operates in a collegial environment, supporting five or six operating rooms daily. The team includes three anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs working in a care team model that ensures everyone has a voice while delivering care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Pay

Hourly Rate: $380 W2 / $390 1099
