Anesthesiologist Per Diem

About the role

As our Anesthesiology Physician, you will join our collaborative team at St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC). SJMC is a 385 bed, Level II Trauma, tertiary care medical center in downtown Tacoma. As part of our team, you will be dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve. Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
• Stay current with research and best practices in Anesthesiology to provide evidence-based care

Required qualifications

• Completed ACGME Accredited Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Certified Anesthesiology (ABA) or eligible and will become board certified within 24 months of training completion
• State of Washington Medical License in good standing; no history of license actions or disciplinary matters
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice

Preferred qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience in a Level I or II trauma center
• EPIC Experience

$375.00 - $425.00 /hour
