Anesthesiologist- Per diem

About the role
South Shore Hospital, a 374-bed community hospital and level 2 Trauma center, seeks Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologists to join our growing team. Our Department of Anesthesia is a diverse and collegial group of physicians who perform a case mix by both MD solo and CRNA supervision. Case mix includes vascular, ortho, general, gyn, thoracic, neuro, healthy peds, and obstetric.
We are looking for well-trained, current ACLS-certified, enthusiastic, collegial team-players to join our dynamic hospital-based practice.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia
- Manage complications of anesthesia postoperatively
- Manage post-op pain
- Manage labor analgesia
- Consult and collaborate with other services for care of patients
- Respond to codes and aid in resuscitation
- Respond and care for trauma patients
- Deliver anesthesia care outside of an operating room service
Pay
Per Diem rate: $275/hr (Monday–Friday 7a to 5p) with a minimum of 10 hours per shift guaranteed, and $300/hr as of 5pm, nights, and weekends.
