Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

An anesthesiologist is needed for outpatient cancer center coverage in Georgia. This locum position involves providing anesthesia services primarily for Radiation/Oncology and urology procedures in an outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general anesthesia, moderate sedation, and spinal anesthesia with an average of 2 cases per day.
• Work under supervision with a dedicated clinical team, including nurses and specialists.

Schedule

• Fixed schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Overtime applies after 8 hours.
• No call required.

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology is mandatory.
• Recent clinical experience within the past 12 months is required.
• Experience with outpatient procedures for patients of all ages.

Key Duties

• Provide anesthesia support.
• Supervise support staff.
• Ensure safe patient care in a coordinated outpatient environment.
