Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

An Inpatient Anesthesiologist provides anesthesia services in a hospital setting under physician supervision, covering day shifts and call duties. The position involves managing a diverse surgical case load, including obstetrics, orthopedics, and general surgery, with a focus on quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care during day and call shifts
• Support a variety of surgical procedures with regional blocks, epidurals, and bread-and-butter cases
• Collaborate with CRNAs and anesthesia techs within a supervised staffing model
• Provide coverage for patients of all ages in an organized perioperative environment
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team and ensure patient safety across diverse surgical cases

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology required
• Experience in a hospital-based, inpatient setting preferred
• Ability to work under supervision and handle a variable case load
