About the role

As a Quality Analyst, Sr at StandardAero, you will play a crucial part in improving the processes, procedures, methods, and materials used in the repair and overhaul of aero-engines, components, and other related processes to maintain product quality while continuously striving for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor quality data (warranty, product rectification, customer satisfaction, etc.) for improvement opportunities across the business unit.
  • Work with the business unit strategic group to select, manage, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain methods and systems for measuring the degree by which the business unit’s quality goals, objectives, and standards are being met.
  • Participate in the business unit quality audits and corrective action process by providing training, facilitation, recommendations, and leadership, as required, to achieve optimal results.
  • Monitor, review, and conduct sub-contractor audits in liaison with supplier development.
  • Interface with marketing, operations, and engineering to establish quality requirements on individual products and services based on customer needs, the fit, form, and function of the product, and ensure quality considerations are addressed early in the product or process design stage.
  • Monitor warranty procedures including investigation, root-cause, corrective action, and follow-up to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, remanufacturing problems, statistical trends, and proposed process changes.

Requirements

  • 5 years work experience in Quality Assurance or equivalent
  • 5 years work experience in quality methodologies for implementation in support of business unit strategic initiatives
  • 5 years working with root cause analysis and familiarity with FAA 145 Regulations
  • 3 years work experience using interactive dashboards for data analytics and Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent experience

Desired Characteristics

  • 5 years work experience in Aviation or MRO
  • 3 years experience in identifying and reporting flight/product safety concerns
  • Certified in AS9100, or AS9110 or ISO 9001
  • Participate in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety for critical parts and processes
  • Led or participated in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

Qualifications
