About The Role
DESRI is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join its team as an asset management analyst or associate, title to be commensurate based on experience. The role also provides the opportunity to participate in the development, acquisition, and management of renewable energy assets in an inclusive and engaging work environment. As a member of the Asset Management team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the performance of your assets and the firm’s portfolio. - Manage financial performance

- Counterparty reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
- Audit and inspect assets to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve asset reliability, availability, and performance
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams
- Monitor revenue generation, operating costs, and budget adherence
- Manage contracts and agreements related to renewable energy generation assets
- Monitor contract compliance, including performance guarantees, maintenance obligations, and reporting requirements
- Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and leverage new opportunities
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field is required.
- A master’s degree in any of these fields is a plus.
- Intellectually curious candidates with a passion for optimization and proven experience in asset management, operations, or project management within the renewable energy industry (PV or BESS), will thrive in this role.
- Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies, industry regulations, and best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, and contract management; impressive analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; and a keen attention to detail are required.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and experience in a role involving multitasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
- Quarterly travel to your assigned assets, in addition to team meetings and stakeholder meetings, will be required.
Pay & Benefits
The expected annual base salary for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
