Analyst III

About the role

The Analyst III leads cross-functional, advanced analytical work to support IEHP’s strategic and operational goals. Projects include complex, large-scale strategic planning, operations support, policy and procedure implementation, budget development, and program implementation. This position serves as a subject-matter expert in operations, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership by translating strategic objectives into actionable plans and guiding implementation efforts. The role also provides functional mentorship to Analysts and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced-level analytical work involving complex projects, regulatory analysis, or transformation initiatives.
• Build dynamic dashboards and leverage data outputs to drive business recommendations.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and develop executive-level recommendations.
• Provide quality oversight of analytical outputs, ensuring alignment with IEHP policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
• Mentor Analysts and project teams by sharing insights and lessons learned.
• Perform report writing and interpretation from data warehouses, databases, and self-service data visualization tools.
• Synthesize data to draw actionable insights and drive results.
• Collaborate with management across the organization to support complex initiatives.

Requirements

• Five (5) or more years of experience in conducting business analysis, including experience in complex multi-stakeholder analyses.
• Experience in a healthcare setting (managed care or regulated environments strongly preferred).
• Experience in the operational area preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution (Master’s degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Managed Care structure and core processes.
• Advanced knowledge of report writing, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL Server, SSRS).
• Experience with relational databases preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including technical business writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across departments and organizational levels.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to lead complex initiatives and work independently with minimal direction.

LEAN, PMP, Six Sigma, Change Management, or other relevant professional certifications preferred.

Pay

$80,059.20 USD Annually - $106,059.20 USD Annually
