ANALYST II
About the role
The California Department of Social Services seeks an Enforcement Analyst II to perform full journey level analytical duties in Southern California counties. This role involves preparing for and conducting on-site inspections and complaint investigations of licensed and unlicensed Home Care Organizations (HCOs).
Responsibilities
- Reviews HCO administrative records, personnel files, and other documents to determine compliance.
- Makes recommendations about appropriate administrative actions to upper management.
- Prepares Statement of Facts and collaborates with legal staff of the Department.
- Conducts fingerprinting and criminal record checks as required by law.
Requirements
The Analyst II position requires a Background Investigation prior to employment. The successful candidate must also maintain a high level of quality, quantity, and timely submissions for their work.
Qualifications
The Analyst II position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in investigation and analysis with reference to interpretation and application of various laws, regulations, statutes, and/or company policy/procedures. Specific examples and experiences in handling competing task demands and managing priorities are required.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Home Care Services regulations are preferred.

Pay
The starting salary for this position is $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
