ANALYST II
About the role
The County Compliance Analyst is responsible for conducting statewide county compliance reviews, providing direction, consultation, and administrative oversight to county welfare departments for the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids and the Cal Fresh programs. Some overnight travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statewide county compliance reviews
- Provide direction, consultation, and administrative oversight to county welfare departments
- Ensure compliance with overpayment/overissuance collection activities, including the Tax Offset Program and the Income Eligibility Verification System (IEVS) processing
Requirements
Requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired. Must submit fingerprints via the Live Scan process to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Qualifications
Must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification.
Skills
Knowledge of social service programs, experience working with internal and external stakeholders, including federal, state, and local government agencies.

Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 A New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
