About the role

The Analyst II under the direction of the Supervisor I performs a variety of complex and analytical administrative staff service assignments for the Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board (OSHAB).

Responsibilities

  • Procurement using Fi$CAL
  • Human Resources document preparation
  • Public records requests
  • Facilities liaison
  • Equipment management
  • Provide consultative services to management
  • Make recommendations for procedure and policy improvements
  • Maintain a routine workload and respond to short and long-term assignments
  • Meet legal, regulatory, and internal deadlines on all assignments
  • Communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks, materials, tools, and equipment

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification. These qualifications include a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.

Skills

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of procurement processes and familiarity with Fi$CAL are also preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
