ANALYST II
About the Role
The California Department of Insurance (CDI) is seeking a dynamic Resource Services Analyst with experience conducting detailed analysis by collecting, evaluating and analyzing data from various sources, to join the Enforcement Branch. This is a 12-month limited term position, which may be extended up to 24 months or become a permanent position. Background check and fingerprinting are required.
Under the direction of the Supervisor I, or designee, the incumbent performs complex work in a wide variety of consultative and analytical services assignments related to the Enforcement Branch (EB) Resource Services Unit.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, forecasting, procuring, and dispersing of equipment for sworn peace officers and non-sworn personnel
- Preparation of EB Vehicle Acquisition Plan and annual and semi-annual Department of General Services (DGS) reports for vehicle, procurement, insurance, and fuel requirements
- Updating Fleet Asset Management Systems (FAMS) as necessary
- Maintaining and auditing the Property Control Database
- Reviewing and providing as needed (daily-weekly-monthly-annual and triennial) reports including but not limited to replacement and rotation of law enforcement equipment, inventory, and vehicle utilization to management and Business Management Bureau (BMB)
- Training users on property control database processes and developing and revising procedures related to EB Property Control
Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 (New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable).
Schedule
12 Month Limited Term - Full Time. Telework: In Office.
