Duties

• To have responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of maximum commitment dates and progress report due dates for all hospital commitment types.
• Reason logically, creatively and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to track the assignments of Forensic Evaluators and processing of Forensic Reports.
• Able to analyze and interpret court orders and recognize discrepancies.
• Aid in the implementation and maintenance of tracking databases for case management and monitoring of patients referred to other state hospital transfers.
• Able to make arithmetical computations to determine maximum commitment date applying applicable custody credits and enhancements according to Penal Code.
• Aid in coordinating patient involuntary medication hearings.
• Analyze and interpret forensic reports, court orders and subpoenas.
• Proficient in Excel, data entry, and compiling data into graphs for data analysis.
