ANALYST I
About the role
The Analyst I provides analytical and technical support on a variety of duties related to the Disposition Resolution Team (DRT) and the Firearms Records Review (FRR) Team. Specifically, this includes acting as the technical expert and point-of-contact for Direct Access implementation into the Bureau. The Analyst I will also develop, update, maintain, and implement business processing procedures and technical documentation related to Direct Access and the DRT and FRR review process.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, maintain, and implement business processing procedures and technical documentation related to Direct Access and the DRT and FRR review process.
- Act as the subject-matter generalist, demonstrating the knowledge and ability to work in multiple firearm disciplines when needed to ensure timely work processes.
- Provide training to new and current employees.
- Work independently and demonstrate discretion and flexibility.
Requirements
This is a 12-month limited term position, however, it may be extended and/or become permanent. Additional information about the job can be found in the Duty Statement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of relevant experience in firearms-related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of firearms-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate discretion and flexibility.
Skills
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in multiple firearm disciplines.
Pay
$3,861.00 - $4,839.00 A
$4,181.00 - $5,233.00 B
$5,014.00 - $6,276.00 C
Schedule
Day shift, Monday to Friday.
