ANALYST I
About the role
This position is a Hiring Desk Analyst I, responsible for handling crucial paperwork for civil service hires and supporting the hiring process. The role involves coordinating RPA processing, utilizing various systems, administering employee opportunity transfer and post & bid processes, and responding to applicant inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Captures and processes Requests for Personnel Action (RPA)
- Utilizes ECOS and other systems for hiring support
- Administers CCC’s Employee Opportunity Transfer and Post & Bid processes
- Acts as the Filing Officer for the CCC’s Conflict of Interest Program
- Supports applicants with questions related to advertised positions
- Provides backup for position control
Requirements
The position requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and a strong understanding of HR and hiring processes. Candidates must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications include experience with caseload management, effective organizational and time management skills, and knowledge of HR and hiring processes. Candidates should also have experience with Microsoft Office suite and internet research tools.
Skills
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research tools is desirable.
Benefits
Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025), reducing an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per month.
Schedule
The position is classified as "Hybrid," allowing for up to one day of telework per week, with a minimum of four days in-office.
