AMC/CMC Facilities Manager
About the role
The Manager of Engineering Services oversees the Construction/Trades division, including Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Engineering Technicians. Responsibilities include ensuring uninterrupted utility services, maintaining buildings, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or ability to obtain in three (3) years
- Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Five (5) years facilities experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Professional Engineering license in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
Qualifications

Works at Auburn Medical Center, Covington Medical Center, and other affiliated facilities. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, three years of supervisory experience, five years of facilities experience in healthcare, and a Professional Engineering license (preferred).
Skills
Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Proficiency in facilities management, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance are also required.

Pay and Benefits
Competitive salary range is $101,545.60 - $146,140.80 USD. Pay is influenced by years of experience, certifications, and education. For union contracts, pay scales reflect appropriate steps on the pay scale. Details on benefits can be found here.
