AMBULATORY PHARMACIST CLINICAL LEAD

Duties

• Collaborate with and support cancer center clinical programs and departments
• Ensure pharmacy is fully integrated into multi-disciplinary, individualized patient care, and total cancer care philosophies
• Educate other Moffitt team members as appropriate
• Evaluate new clinical trends and develop strategies to incorporate clinically significant concepts
• Lead professional activities including didactic and/or poster presentations and research and clinical initiatives
• Develop clinical measures/activities and administer progressive educational programs
• Manage content creation initiatives for training and clinical competencies
• Train interns, residents, and students ensuring documentation of standards met required for competency
• Lead quality improvement efforts focusing on clinical aspects of Specialty Pharmacy
• Assist pharmacy supervisor and manager in ensuring compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, financial, and legal standards

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited college or university
• Florida pharmacist license
• Experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of oncology and pharmaceuticals
