About the role
This position will be at Prince William Medical Center.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of work experience as a cleared ALS provider with a 911 agency, inter-facility, transport agency or equivalent
- State EMT/Paramedic certification. Advance Life Support Attendant: Paramedic
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
- Valid Driver's License
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Must remain calm and organized in emergent situations
- Must be available for rotating shifts as required
- Must have keen sense of responsibility, ability to make decisions, and work independently
- Must have good judgment
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to interact effectively with the public
- Perform IV/IO access including ED
- Operate mechanical ventilators
- Operate under REMS and department protocols to include special MD orders

Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $25.14 - $37.12 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
Schedule
Full Time Nights 7p-7a with weekends rotate
