About the role

This posting is primarily for an as needed (non-benefitted) pharmacist position in the new Richmond, KY location of UKHC Retail Pharmacies. Primarily covering shifts at the Richmond Retail Pharmacy located in Richmond, KY. Must be available to work during operating hours of the location which includes evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
• Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians.
• Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered.
• Manage inventory and technician staff to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for license as a Pharmacist in Kentucky. Must be licensed in the State of KY on day one of employment and maintained in good standing throughout time in position.
• May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Available to work during operating hours of the location which includes evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
• 0 yrs. Related Experience
• Licensed or eligible for license as a Pharmacist in Kentucky.
• Must be licensed in the State of KY on day one of employment and maintained in good standing throughout time in position.
