Amb/Retail Pharmacist Clin Staff/OnCall/UKHC - Medication Assistance Program
Job Summary
This position supports the mission of the Medication Assistance Program by facilitating patient access to prescribed medications through copay support initiatives, manufacturer-sponsored assistance programs, and other affordability resources. Responsibilities include evaluating patient eligibility, completing patient applications, conducting follow-up communications, and coordinating care with healthcare providers and pharmacy teams. This role is essential in promoting medication adherence and improving health outcomes by reducing financial barriers to treatment.

Physical Requirements
- May include sitting or standing for greater than 5 hours at a time
- May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Shift
The Medication Assistance Program operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work schedules are subject to change based on departmental needs and patient demand. Standard shifts are not expected to exceed 40 hours per week; however, flexibility may be required.
Required Education
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
Required Related Experience
- 0 yrs.
Required License/Registration/Certification
- Licensed Pharmacist in Kentucky
Preferred Education/Experience
- Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred
Salary Range
- $50.34hr - 64.08/hr
