AM Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The AM Housekeeping Supervisor oversees all housekeeping duties within a particular facility or on a team. Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
• Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff
• Aids guests with questions and basic requests
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional
• Trains new housekeepers and support staff
• Mets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED is preferred but not required
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision is preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Conflict resolution experience
• Patience and good listening skills
