Alternative Delivery Manager, Large Diameter Water Conveyance Piping - Michels Preconstruction Services, Inc.

About the role

The Alternative Delivery Manager role focuses on Large Diameter Water Conveyance projects. This position involves business development, teaming, pursuit and proposal activities, as well as active contract and design management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.
• Work closely with internal Michels teams and external partner and client teams.
• Multitask effectively while making well-informed decisions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Lead project pursuits and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of contractor experience, construction management experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with water conveyance and municipality engagement and regulation.
• PE & DBIA Certification (desirable).
• Experience with alternative delivery projects, including design build and EPC.
• Experience in key project leadership roles.
• Understanding of scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving.
• An acceptable driving record.

• Open to relocation to Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington, Virginia, or Texas or any of our Michels offices.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hours are flexible and travel requirements may exceed 50% depending on assignments and project needs.
