About the role
We are now seeking a Service Manager to join our team at Hill Brook Place, a 274-unit community in Bensalem, PA. This position requires a hands-on, experienced individual with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to lead maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily maintenance operations including work orders, unit turns, make-ready schedules, and grounds upkeep
- Develop and execute an organized production schedule and preventive maintenance plan
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, and electrical systems
- Partner with office staff to ensure timely follow-up and excellent resident service
- Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance materials, tools, and supplies
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and vacant units
- Ensure emergency preparedness and personally respond to urgent site needs when required
- Plan, assign, and direct maintenance activities while maintaining hands-on involvement in daily tasks
Requirements
- Strong, well-rounded maintenance experience with leadership capability
- Proven ability to manage work orders, scheduling, inventory, and daily property operations
- Hands-on experience with HVAC systems (required)
- Strong skills in plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance troubleshooting
- Comfortable using smartphone apps, tablets, and basic computer systems
- Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred
- One-year certificate, 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience

Pay
Pay Range: $27.50 – $33.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
