About the role

The Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center is a high-end private hotel and conference center managed by Benchmark Hospitality. It offers 1,400 single occupancy rooms, nine restaurants and lounges, and 200,000 square feet of meeting space. Located in Westlake, Texas, it caters exclusively to professional clientele.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a warm and sincere first impression.
• Escort guests to their table, provide menus and information.
• Receive, confirm, and manage reservations, provide approximate wait times, and manage seating charts through an online table & reservations system.
• Provide information and knowledge of hotel amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant entry and Host stand area.

Requirements

• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Likes to smile and talk to people.
• Prior restaurant Host/Hostess experience preferred.
• Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed.
