Alarm Technician Apprentice

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Alarm Technician Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals interested in learning the trade and building a career in alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and low-voltage cabling.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the installation and service of fire and burglar alarms, CCTV, access control, and network systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing security and low-voltage systems under supervision.
• Learn how to run, terminate, test, and label cabling (twisted pair, coaxial, and fiber).
• Support site surveys, maintenance, and accurate documentation of work performed.
• Maintain tools, materials, and a safe, organized work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Vocational/Technical training a plus).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong interest in learning alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Able to pass state/federal background checks.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Capable of working in varying weather conditions.

Growth Opportunity
