Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government airport location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. Use communication and computer skills to document activities while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, roadways, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and public agencies as directed.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay & Schedule
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $28.75 Per Hour
Schedule: DayTime, Saturday 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
