About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers and staff. Use computer or tablet technology to document observations and communicate clearly with the team.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and government representatives while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and promptly communicate observations through established reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and documenting incidents in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

$26.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Friday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
