Pay Rate

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Job Schedule

  • Tuesday: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Thursday: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and/or access points, verify credentials when required, and communicate with visitors, staff, and public agency personnel regarding security-related concerns.
  • Support daily operations by documenting incidents, assisting with crowd and traffic flow, and contacting emergency services or site contacts when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
