$18.50 / Hour

DayTime Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and first responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report security-related concerns, and document incidents involving students, staff, visitors, and/or property in accordance with site procedures.
• Support daily operations during arrival, dismissal, events, and/or after-hours activities by maintaining a visible presence and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
