Airport Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public agency personnel, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
- Provide directions and general assistance to travelers and visitors while maintaining awareness of surroundings and reporting suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or restricted area concerns.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Pay
$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
