How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel regarding security-related concerns.
- Aid with traffic and pedestrian flow observation, provide directions and general assistance, and document unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay
Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
