Airport Security Officer: Full Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols by vehicle and bicycle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with airport operations, law enforcement, fire, medical, and other appropriate personnel as directed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years).
- 1+ years of Airport Security Experience.
- 21+ years of age.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Saturday: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
