Airport Security Officer: Full Time Bicycle Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols by bike, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or airport partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, check credentials as directed, and help deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (+1 years of driving experience).
• 1+ years of Airport Security Experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

$25.25 / Hour

• Wednesday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
• Friday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
