Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol

About the role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Conduct routine bicycle patrols throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
