Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Based Patrol

About the role

As a Bicycle-Based Patrol Security Officer in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol a public-facing location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or bicycle patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and the public.

Requirements

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$22.00 / hour
