Airport Security Officer: Part Time Bicycle Capable Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols by bike and vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned facilities to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• 1+ years of security experience.

Pay

$25.25 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
• Sunday: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
