Airport Agent - SHD

About the role

As an airport agent at SkyWest, you'll ensure excellent customer service by performing tasks such as ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and resolving customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers that arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers
• Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• Service aircraft as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• This position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing.
