About the role
Airport agents are primarily responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, resolving customer concerns, and more.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
- Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
- Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
- Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
- Service aircraft as needed
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
- Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Adaptability to changing priorities and effective time management skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Part-time and full-time positions may be available.
