Airfreight Supervisor - Healthcare

Join a global logistics leader as an Airfreight Supervisor – Healthcare, where you will lead critical operations for time-sensitive, high-value shipments. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, driving operational excellence, and delivering high-quality service to customers in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Airfreight operations and act as the key point of contact for customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
• Serve as subject matter expert and coordinate activities across internal teams
• Ensure compliance with export and healthcare regulations (AES, DPS, Hazmat, AMS)
• Oversee documentation, screening, and resolution of service issues (delays, claims, billing discrepancies)
• Maintain shipment profitability and drive KPI, productivity, and cost improvements
• Partner with sales and product teams to optimize service and pricing
• Manage staffing, performance reviews, and employee development

Requirements

• 5+ years airfreight export experience; 2+ years in leadership preferred
• Strong knowledge of documentation, Incoterms, and compliance
• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with strong communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
