Job Summary
Makes repairs to aircraft following orders of higher grade workers. Performs routine maintenance tasks such as removing, cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective parts.
Responsibilities
- Adjusts and sets cable tension and seat movement settings and adjustments.
- Services engines and aircraft components at line station.
- Obtains standard parts from parts manuals and compares with samples.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Three (3) years’ actual and recent related experience in the field.
- A&P license is considered equivalent to three (3) years’ experience.
- Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
- Travel may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
Skills
- Knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret parts manuals.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
