About the role
We are a leading aviation company seeking an Aircraft Quality Assurance Inspector to join our growing team at an OEM repair facility in Reno, NV. The position offers fantastic training, growth opportunity, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Validate, ensure, and approve inspections of maintenance and alterations to determine airworthiness
- Approve aircraft for return to service in accordance with FAA guidelines
- Exercise full authority of QC Inspectors for approval of return to service
- Train and develop under top-level leadership with advancement opportunity
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- A&P certification (Airframe & Powerplant License)
- Strong understanding of applicable regulations and RSM/QCM for inspection and approval
- Corporate aircraft experience (Challenger, Lear, Dassault, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, and blueprints
- Understanding of CFR Part 145.211
