About the role

Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Import department. This includes smooth and timely freight flow, accurate data entry, and daily monitoring of in-transit delays. You will also handle overseas communications, track and trace Air Import files, and ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight flow for Air Import shipments
• Perform accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Track and trace Air Import files as required
• Monitor in-transit delays daily and update appropriate event codes
• Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments
• Send documents to outside brokers for customs purposes in a timely manner
• Comply with internal policies (e.g., Operational Process Standards) and external government regulations or customer requirements
• Handle overseas communications, including timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear communication
• Proactive with strong organizational skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
• College degree preferred
