Air Import Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely shipment process flow
• Achieve accuracy and timeliness in data entry into operational system
• Track and trace shipments
• Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and external customers
• Manage accurate and timely client billing, including dispute resolution
• Understand and meet customer expectations for all SOP and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
• Complete cross-training to support team coverage
• Represent Expeditors professionally to customers, service providers, and government agencies
• Manage foreign-to-foreign billing
• Support customer quote requests
• Willing to work shifted hours/work schedules as needed

• Achieve standard of 52 hours of training per year, including mandatory trainings
• Drive and develop customer relationships to exceed expectations

Qualifications

• Typing - 30 wpm and 10-key by touch
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes
• DG Certification Required
• Easily adaptable to change and efficient in high-stress environments
• Compliance certifications required for duties obtained and maintained
• Knowledge or prior experience of industry-specific qualifications
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, clear communication, and obtaining positive results
• Pro-active and strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Expected Hourly Range: $24.00 – $31.00
