Air Conditioning Mechanic Senior

Basic Qualifications

• EPA Universal Refrigerant License (608 License)
• 4 years of HVAC/R (such as Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration) experience or equivalent education/experience

Job Description

PERFORMS SUCH TYPICAL DISTINGUISHING DUTIES AS:

• Overhauls heating equipment by disassembling heater, diagnosing trouble, replacing or repairing worn and faulty parts such as burners, baffles, pilots, governors, floats, strainers, oil pumps and thermocouples.
• Reassembles, installs and functionally tests heating equipment, calibrates and makes any adjustment required.
• Works from blueprints, sketches, manufacturers’ specifications, manuals, verbal instructions and other authorized data.
• Works at various heights.

Minimum Job Skills

• Knowledge or training in Blueprint Reading
• Knowledge or training in Industrial HVAC/R servicing

Desired Skills

• Computer Skills
• Siemens BMCS Skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC/R repair, troubleshooting, and controls
• Commercial refrigeration knowledge
