About the role

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking students to assist Research Engineers with modeling and simulation of radar systems for the purposes of tracking air and space targets. Students will be involved in producing MATLAB code, developing automated testing utilities, and analyzing air and space target tracking applications.

Responsibilities

  • Produce MATLAB code as directed to perform modeling and simulation of the radar and missile systems.
  • Develop automated testing utilities to assist in detection of regressions and potential errors in new code.
  • Develop tools using MATLAB to assist in analysis of air and space target tracking applications.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university.
  • 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
  • Experience in Matlab, C++, C, or Fortran.
  • Familiarity with version control and continuous integration tools and principles.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas.

  • Must be a US Citizen due to research contracts with the US federal government.
