About the role

As a Housekeeper at Bandon Dunes, you play a crucial part in ensuring every guest’s experience is memorable. Your responsibilities range from making beds and wiping counters to noticing and fixing small details that enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and reset guest rooms, including replacing linens and restocking amenities.
• Keep common areas clean and inviting.
• Tackle dust, dirt, and smudges in guest rooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Report any broken or out-of-place items to ensure they are fixed promptly.
• Use cleaning materials safely and follow safety protocols.
• Pitch in where needed to support the team.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail and willingness to fix small issues.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
• Organized and able to keep tools and supplies in order.
• Physical stamina to stand, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs (with help), and move around for hours.
• Clear communication skills, both with guests and teammates.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and problem-solve.
• Safety-first mindset, prioritizing your own and others' safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or similar roles preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

• Attention to detail and ability to notice and fix small issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
