Aftermarket Support Specialist

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Execute daily operations of the sales support role, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.

Deliver high-quality, responsive service to clients and territory managers, addressing inquiries, managing orders, and resolving issues promptly in a fast paced environment.

Aid in the development of sales strategies for parts, aligning with the company’s objectives.

Aid in the implementation of sales promotions.

Provide technical support as needed.

Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to sales processes.

Work closely with inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels for commercial parts, minimizing both overstock and stockouts.

Cook with purchasing to forecast needs and manage supply chain logistics.

Use data to drive decision-making and optimize team performance.

Liaise with other departments such as marketing, technical support, and sales to ensure a cohesive approach to business objectives.

Assist store personnel (ISPs and DCMs) in identifying, quoting and ordering parts and supplies.

Participate in cross-functional teams to drive company-wide initiatives.

Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product knowledge.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Maintain regular, punctual and reliable attendance and availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry or related field
• 2 years HVAC commercial parts and products experience
• 2 years customer service experience
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
• SAP experience, a plus
• Prior proven multi-tasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical aptitude preferred
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by company driver policies

Travel Requirement

Up to 25% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay.
