About the role

Performs professional work coordinating and managing the daily operations of all Orlando After-School All-Stars (Orlando ASAS) comprehensive before-school, after-school, and summer programs, to ensure that the educational, social, and financial objectives of the organization and the needs of the staff, youth, families, and public are met. An employee assigned to this classification performs administrative and supervisory work, planning, developing, organizing, promoting of, and ensuring the safety of all Orlando ASAS programs and facilities. Work is performed under the direction of the Orlando ASAS Executive Director and performance is reviewed for results obtained through reports, observation, performance evaluations, and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and managing the daily operations of all Orlando ASAS comprehensive before-school, after-school, and summer programs.
• Ensuring the educational, social, and financial objectives of the organization and the needs of staff, youth, families, and public are met.
• Performing administrative and supervisory work.
• Planning, developing, organizing, promoting, and ensuring the safety of all Orlando ASAS programs and facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Education, or related field (including Liberal Arts and Sciences) and two (2) years of experience coordinating and managing youth programs (preferably in an after-school or educational setting), including one (1) year of experience in a progressively responsible supervisory role; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• Must pass a Level 2 background check.
• Experience administering a budget is preferred.
• This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time; most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

Pay

$30.06 - $39.83 hourly

Schedule

Required to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
