Training and Leadership Consulting in Houston, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated After School Coordinator to join our team! Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily after-school program activities and curriculum
- Supervise student participants
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school administration
- Track attendance, manage records, and prepare program reports
- Coordinate enrichment activities including tutoring, arts, and leadership development
- Ensure program compliance with organizational policies and safety standards
Requirements
- Experience working with school-age youth in an educational or recreational setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team of staff and volunteers
- Proficiency in basic record-keeping and program administration
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
- Passion for youth development, mentorship, and community engagement
